Our Story
We started off a small company. It was me and a little blue 1987 Toyota truck. I never dreamed our business would grow this big. It was a lot of hot, long days. I never had a goal in mind. Work and make money. It wasn’t till I was 19 when I decided I wanted to have two crews. My goal was to have two crews by the time I turned 21. I met that goal at age 22, ever since then it’s been all uphill. We now run nine crews. From lawn maintenance, irrigation, lawn chemical care, landscape and lighting.
I am different than most company owners, I’ve never been one to want to sit in an office. I like being hands on and getting my hands dirty and working with my guys. I love seeing the properties change. I’ve always told my guys I will never have them do anything that I would not do, myself. Most of my clients, I have had for years, and they will tell you, we value what they think. Our clients are family, just like our employees. From the guys that work for me, to the ladies in the office. One thing that also helps us is we communicate well in the office.
Our goal is to treat the clients the same way, I would treat a close friend. I tell my guys to be polite and to always be respectful to the clients. Our other goal is to offer the best product for the money, but the same time we still are here to make a profit. I have a sign beside my desk that helps me. It says” Cheap, Fast, Good. You can only choose two, so if you want it fast and good it’s not going to be cheap.”We have landscaped large commercial Warehouses, Shopping Centers, Country Clubs, Resorts and Multi-Million Dollar homes. The key to being successful is loving what you do, and I defiantly do!
